Master the Russian Language

In this course, you will learn to read and write in Cyrillic, introduce yourself, and talk about your family, work, hobbies, and daily life. You’ll also learn to navigate real-life situations such as shopping, travelling, asking for directions, and making plans. Throughout the course, you will build a solid foundation in essential grammar — including Russian noun cases, plural forms, adjective and verb conjugation, past and future tense forms, and verbs of motion.

In this course, you will expand your ability to communicate in Russian about everyday topics such as hobbies, food, studies, work, travel, and lifestyle. You will learn to describe routines and experiences, share opinions, give advice, and talk about future plans. As you progress, you will deepen your understanding of key grammar — including plural forms of nouns and adjectives across the six Russian cases, verb aspect, verbs of motion, infinitive structures, and the imperative.

In this course, you will develop greater confidence communicating in Russian about a wide range of everyday and social topics, including lifestyle, travel, work, relationships, health, and current events. You will learn to describe experiences in more detail, express and justify opinions, compare ideas, and discuss plans, problems, and goals in longer conversations. As you progress, you will deepen your understanding of key grammar — including complex sentence structures, verb aspect and prefixes, verbs of motion, participles, comparative forms, reflexive verbs, and advanced uses of Russian noun cases.

In this course, you will further develop your ability to communicate confidently in Russian about a broad range of social, cultural, and professional topics. You will learn to discuss current issues, present arguments, analyse ideas, and participate actively in extended conversations and discussions. As you progress, you will refine your command of advanced grammar — including complex sentence structures, participles and adverbial participles, verb prefixes and aspect, nuanced uses of cases and prepositions, and indirect speech — helping you express ideas more precisely and naturally in both formal and informal contexts.
